Susan Bilder, Sr. Technical Consultant
Susan joined the Heroix Technical Support group in 1999. Susan specializes in Unix/Linux and assisting customers with VBS and Shell scripts, SNMP-related work, and OpenVMS. Aside from coursework in Windows and Unix technologies, Susan studied Geophysics at MIT and is currently pursuing studies in Information Science. Having spent 5 years as an Army Korean Language interrogator, Susan can also help customers order a drink or ask directions to a restroom should they call our support line from Seoul.
Alison Murphy, Sr. Technical Consultant
Alison has been with Heroix since 2002, and has come to be our resident Exchange guru as well as an all-around Longitude configuration and Windows expert. Prior to joining Heroix, Alison attended Wheaton College where she earned degrees in Math and Computer Science. Alison is also a devoted sports fan and a reliable expert on all things related to the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots.
Chris Smith, Sr. Sales Engineer
Chris is a 7 year Heroix veteran whose area of focus includes consulting, implementation, customization, and training. Chris has a B.S. in Decision Science and Management Information Systems plus 15 years of experience in performance evaluation and capacity planning. Like Susan, he’s a bit of a globe trotter, supporting customers from Europe to Latin America and Asia, as well here in the good old U.S. of A.
Dave Atkins, Guest Blogger
Dave has worked in technology start up companies since 1995, when he was the webmaster for Smart Valley, Inc., a non-profit in Silicon Valley. As a developer, systems administrator, manager, and engineering director, Dave amassed a wealth of knowledge about getting technology operations to work in Silicon Valley and Boston. A graduate of MIT, Dave also has a law degree and blogs about local issues on WestwoodBlog, the community site he created in his town.
