How can IT departments who are already spread thin make sure that their service aligns with the needs of the business they are supporting? Written service level agreements (SLAs) help show the value of IT and prove to management that business goals are being met. Without the right tools, day-to-day monitoring and reporting on SLA compliance can deplete the resources of staffs and budgets that are already stretched.
